This year in Pula and Rijeka, we organized the first Coming Out Museum Encounters exhibitions, which allowed the public to engage directly with items from our collection and learn about your stories and coming out experiences. We are thrilled that both exhibitions were well attended and that they demonstrated to us all how creating safe spaces for expressing LGBTQ+ identities contributes to building a better society for everyone!

In 2025, COME is embarking on a journey, with plans to organize more exhibitions to showcase our growing collection—one that you are helping to build! Our aim is to create a space where the diversity of experiences comes to the forefront. Here, personal coming-out stories meet and become part of a collective experience. We invite you to participate and share your own coming-out stories through items that symbolize important moments in that journey, along with their stories!

We also welcome all artists to contribute to the exhibition with their works in various media and techniques, helping to foster dialogue and understanding of coming out through their creativity and experience.
