GALLERY OK, 11/10 – 25/10/2024
The first visiting exhibition of the Coming Out Museum Encounters, following its initial presentation in Pula in June 2024, was opened on October 11, 2024, at the OK Gallery in Rijeka, as part of the Smoqua festival of queer and feminist culture. The organizer of the festival is LORI, a lesbian organization from Rijeka that aims to inform and raise public awareness about the acceptance of LGBTIQ+ people, eliminate prejudice and homo/bi/transphobia, combat discrimination based on sexual orientation, gender identity and/or gender expression, promote gender equality, the values of tolerance, pluralism, and genuine equality before the law, and empower the community.
