Ethnographic Museum Zagreb, 23/05 – 24/05/2025
The Coming Out Museum Encounters pop-up exhibition was presented on May 23 and 24 in the open storage space of the Ethnographic Museum in Zagreb.
During this special encounter, project authors Mario Buletić and Jan Franjul showcased part of the collection of coming out stories, inviting LGBTIQ+ individuals to share their own stories and meaningful items.
The COME project promotes diversity and inclusion through personal narratives. After Zagreb, the collection continues its journey to Poreč, Pazin, Trieste, and Labin.
We thank all visitors for joining us, for the warm atmosphere, and the inspiring conversations. Special thanks to the Ethnographic Museum Zagreb for hosting us, as well as to the Queer Zagreb Festival and the Domino association, as Coming Out Museum Encounters was part of their official programme.
