Story:

This panda bear is my object of transition.

I’ve always loved big huggable stuffed animals and I didn’t have any.

I got a stuffed animal during my second relationship with a girl. Since I lived with my parents again after college, I started to panic about what I was going to tell my dad at home, where did the panda come from? And so, at home, I immediately hid the panda in the closet. Neither my girlfriend nor I were really out at the time. During that period, I questioned myself about continuing with the relationship.

The panda helped me realize that I wanted a different reality for myself. A more open life, out of the closet. But I continued on that path slowly.
