On Friday, January 26th, as part of the Night of Museums program at the Ethnographic Museum of Istria, we presented the Coming Out Museum and our collection, and invited everyone to visit us at come.lgbt and become part of our story!

The authors of the project, Mario Buletić from the Ethnographic Museum of Istria and Jan Franjul from the association Process, discussed the beginnings of cooperation, the importance of cooperation between museums and civil society organizations, and the future and goals of the Coming Out Museum.

The virtual platform COME enables everyone to become a part of the collaborative process, to enrich the collection with their objects and stories, become a part of the material LGBTIQ+ memory, and to get acquainted with other stories and lives.

In Pazin, we also announced the first pop-up exhibition to be held in Pula in the Novo Gallery in the second half of June 2024. Until then, everyone is welcome to take a peek at Coming Out Museum, get acquainted with the initiative and participate in the development of this common story.
